Starting from 1 May 2025, tourists must fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) 3 days before entering the country!
Thailand has always been a popular travel destination for Malaysians. Diverse culture, rich history, romantic islands and beaches are just some of the reasons why Thailand is a top destination for many.
However, the Thai Immigration Bureau announced that from 1 May 2025 onwards, all foreign tourists entering Thailand must fill out the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online, three days in advance. Regardless of whether entering by air, land or water, all tourists are required to fill it out. Don't fret— it's pretty simple, just keep reading this guide!
What is the Thailand Arrival Card (TDAC)?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an online form designed to replace the paper arrival card and facilitate travelers entering Thailand from any route. It'll be used to submit entry information and health declaration details to the Thai Ministry of Health before arriving in Thailand.
After completing the application, travellers will receive a QR code that needs to be shown to immigration officials upon arrival. This helps to simplify the entry process and reduces contact at border checkpoints!
Who needs to fill out the Thailand Electronic Arrival Card (TDAC)?
All foreigners entering Thailand must complete the Thai electronic entry card before entering the country, except :
- Foreigners transiting in Thailand
- Foreigners using a Border Pass
When to fill it out?
All foreigners are required to submit the TDAC 3 days before entering Thailand, including the arrival date.
Guidelines for filling out the Thailand Electronic Arrival Card (TDAC)
You can refer to this cheat sheet before you fill out the arrival card:
1. Documents needed:
- Passport information
- Personal Information
- Travel Information
- Thailand accommodation information
- Health declaration information
1. Head to the official TDAC website and click on "Arrival Card".

2. Enter you passport and personal information, then click "Continue".

3. Enter your travel and accommodation information and click "Continue" again.
4. Enter the country/region you were in for the past two weeks before your arrival for the health declaration. If the country/region you entered is listed by the Ministry of Public Health, you will be prompted to complete the health declaration form.
5. Click "Add" to add other passengers and repeat steps 1 to 4. If there are no other passengers, click "Next".
6. Check your information thoroughly. If there is any incorrect information, click "Edit" to edit it.
7. Fill in your email address to receive your Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC).
8. Check the terms and conditions to indicate your agreement, and click "Submit" to submit your application.
9. Download your Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC). You can also download or print a copy of the arrival card.
Steps to change information on your Thailand Electronic Arrival Card (TDAC)
1. Head to the official TDAC website and click on "Update Arrival Card".
2. Enter the information required for the search, including:
- Thailand Electronic Arrival Card number
- Passport number
- Date of birth
- Nationality/Citizenship
Then, click "Search".

3. Edit the information as needed. Be sure to double check!
4. Fill in your email address to receive your Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC).
5. Check the terms and conditions to indicate your agreement, and click "Submit" to update your application.
6. Download your Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC). You can also download or print a copy of the arrival card.

- All information must be filled in English.
- The Thailand Arrival Card (TDAC) is not a visa (VISA)
- The following personal information cannot be changed:
- Full name (as in passport)
- Passport Number
- Nationality/Citizenship
- Date of birth
